Does anyone know how to create a good light sabre effect - either using Adobe Premiere 6 or After Effects? Preferably the former. Thanks.

Wow! I can actually help for once! www.theforce.net/theater/tutorials.shtml has a couple tutorials on how some people made lightsaber effects with Premeire 6.

Get yerself a copy of Alam DV 2. It's about fifty quid and it's big selling point is that it can do lightsabre effects.

See if you can find a mate with a copy of last month's PC Plus magazine as they gave away Alam DV 1 on the cover CD for nothin'.
